Neuro-affiming and Trauma-informed Therapy in Twickenham and Online for Adults
A calm compassionate space shaped by lived experience, where you don’t have to over-explain to be understood.
Therapy in Twickenham and online for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, disability, neurodivergence, narcissistic abuse recovery and other life challenges.
When life feels heavy, therapy can offer space to pause
There are times in life when holding everything together quietly becomes exhausting.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or unsure why certain experiences still affect you so deeply. You may be living with chronic illness or disability, navigating neurodivergence, recovering from narcissistic abuse, or carrying the impact of trauma, grief or burnout.
Whatever has brought you here, therapy offers a space to slow down, feel less alone, and begin to understand the patterns, emotions and experiences that have shaped you.

Why work with me?
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. You deserve to work with someone you feel safe with — someone who has the professional knowledge to support you, but who also takes the time to understand you as an individual.
As a BACP-accredited psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner, clinical supervisor and psychology graduate, I bring over 15 years’ experience supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, disability and neurodivergence.
My approach is integrative, relational and trauma-informed. I do not believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. Instead, we work together in a way that fits your needs, your pace and your circumstances.
Alongside my professional training, I also bring lived experience of disability and neurodivergence. While every person’s experience is unique, this shapes the way I work: with compassion, honesty, flexibility and a deep respect for the realities people are carrying.
What it's like to work with me
Therapy with me is relational, collaborative and trauma-informed. We may explore patterns in relationships, attachment, self-worth, nervous system responses, past experiences and the ways you have learned to cope.
I work integratively, drawing from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels useful for you. Some sessions may focus on understanding the past, while others may focus on what is happening in your life now and how you can respond with more clarity, choice and self-compassion.
You do not need to arrive with everything perfectly explained. We work at a pace that feels manageable, with no pressure to share more than you feel ready to. Over time, therapy can help you feel clearer, more grounded and more able to trust your own feelings, needs and boundaries.
Specialist areas I support
I work with adults experiencing a range of emotional, relational and life challenges. My specialist areas include chronic illness and disability, neurodivergence, narcissistic abuse recovery, trauma, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem and burnout.
Therapy options
I offer talking therapy, EMDR therapy and clinical supervision, depending on the kind of support you are looking for.
Psychotherapy
(Talking Therapy)
Talking therapy offers a consistent, confidential space to explore whatever is getting in the way — whether that's anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, or a more general sense that something isn't right. We work together to understand the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, and to find more useful ways of moving through the world. Sessions are ongoing, and the relationship we build over time is itself a core part of how the work unfolds.

EMDR
Therapy
EMDR is an evidence-based approach that works differently from talking therapy. Rather than relying primarily on conversation, it helps the brain process traumatic or distressing memories that remain emotionally charged — the ones that still feel raw, or that intrude when you'd rather they didn't. Over time, the memory remains but loses its grip, so it no longer has the same power to disturb your present. EMDR can be used as a standalone approach or alongside ongoing therapy.

Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for qualified counsellors and trainee therapists who want a reflective, supportive space for their work.
Supervision provides room to think about client material, ethical considerations, risk, relational dynamics and your development as a practitioner. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful and grounded in professional growth, helping you feel supported in both your clinical decision-making and confidence.

Ready to take the next step?
If you are thinking about beginning therapy and would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, you are very welcome to get in touch.
1
Book a consultation
Send me a message to arrange an initial consultation. This can be a telephone or video call of up to 30 minutes (£30), or a full 60-minute assessment session (£60).
2
Get to know each other
We’ll talk through what has brought you here, your current difficulties, and what you are hoping for from therapy. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and consider whether I feel like the right fit for you.
3
Decide whether therapy feels right
If we both feel it could be a good fit, we can arrange ongoing sessions online or in person and begin working together at a pace that feels thoughtful, manageable and supportive.
